Common problems and solutions of industrial chillers

Familiar with the method of industrial chiller fault analysis and solution, it is very important for technicians, today I will tell you about common problems and solutions of industrial chillers.

First, the leakage (first determine the location of the leak)

1. Pump leakage (cause: the shaft seal at the pump is not well connected or the shaft seal has been damaged)

Solution: Do not change the shaft seal, directly change the pump

2. Water tank leakage (cause: trachoma appears in the welding position of the tank or has been used for a long time)

Solution: Pull back to the manufacturer to re-weld the leakage position

3. Ball valve, diverter (cause: ball valve, diverter leakage)

Solution: Replace the ball valve and diverter

4. The horn connection position of the cylinder (cause: water leakage at the same horn connection position)

Solution: Remove and re-open the horn and reinstall it

5. Water leakage in the float position (cause: the float has fallen, or the position of the float adjusted is incorrect)

Solution: Reinstall the float and adjust the float position

Second, no refrigeration (causes: system leakage of refrigerant, compressor bad, computer board bad, overload)

1. System leakage refrigerant (inspection method: first look at the low pressure meter, whether there is pressure, no pressure, indicating the leakage of snow species)

Solution: Check the leakage, check that there is no copper pipe connection, and see that the location leaks snow

2. The compressor is bad (it will also show the compressor failure) (inspection method: use the clamp meter to clamp the three wires of the compressor to obtain the working current, if the three are different, the preliminary judgment is that the compressor is bad; 5HP compressor current is about 9A-10A current is normal, vice versa)

Solution: Replace the compressor

3. The computer board is bad (the computer board shows that the temperature is abnormal or does not match the actual temperature)

Solution: Replace the computer board

4. Overload (the temperature cannot reach the predetermined effect during the use of the chiller, or the temperature does not drop, but rises)

Solution: It is explained that the power of the optional chiller is not large enough, and it may be necessary to replace the larger chiller to set the required temperature

Third, the chiller reports a low-pressure failure

1. System leakage refrigerant (check the method first look at the low pressure meter, whether there is pressure, if there is no pressure or the pressure is small, indicating the leakage of snow species)

Solution: Check the leakage and check each copper pipe connection to see which position leaks snow

2. The pressure controller is bad

Solution: Check whether the pressure controller can be reset, if it cannot be reset, replace the pressure controller

3. The computer board is bad (there is no problem with others, it may be that the computer program error causes a low-voltage failure)

Solution: Replace the computer board and adjust the parameters again

4. Filter plugging (one side of the filter and the capillary tube is low, and the temperature on the other side will not change, it means that the filter is blocked)

Workaround: Replace the filter

Fourth, high voltage alarm (turn on to see the high voltage meter, if it keeps rising, there will be a high voltage alarm)

Generally, it is not a problem of the manufacturer, and the customer's problem can be solved from the following

1. Is the water in the water tower turned on? Is the cooling water path unobstructed?

2. Will the water quality of the water tower be very If it has been used for more than half a year and the blisters have not been checked, the water cannon needs to be cleaned

4. If it is air-cooled, clean the condenser when it is used

5. If the above points cannot solve the problem, it may be a problem with the pressure controller and the computer board, and the pressure controller or computer board should be replaced.
